Archbishop announces new appointment – Archdeacon Joan Locke

Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce that Archdeacon Joan Locke (Temiskaming) has accepted her additional appointment as Acting Archdeacon of the Deanery of Muskoka commencing June 1st, 2019. This is a temporary 6-month appointment and Archdeacon Joan will remain Archdeacon of Temiskaming Deanery.

Prayers requested for Michelle Rollins

The family of Michelle Rollins have requested prayers for her in her struggle with kidney cancer. We ask that you uphold Michelle and her entire family in your prayers. We pray for wisdom and compassion for her medical team in Sudbury and Toronto that they may have the expertise required

Archbishop announces new appointment

Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Dr. Patti Brace as Interim Incumbent at St. Mary’s, Nipigon, commencing August 1, 2019. Patti will be ordained as a presbyter, God willing, at the opening service of Diocesan Synod on May 8th at St. Luke’s Cathedral.

The editor of the Algoma Anglican, the Rev. Peter Simmons, has advised that, due to lack of copy, there will be no April edition of the paper. The next deadline for the May edition is April 1st.
