Major Grant for Thorneloe
Thorneloe University has been awarded a US$30,000 grant from the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion to lead a two-year national initiative examining how theology is taught during times of institutional disruption and change. The project will bring together theological educators from across Canada to explore renewal, reconciliation, and sustainable approaches to theological education.

AFC Grant Supports Provincial Youth Council Gathering 2026
The Anglican Foundation of Canada has awarded a $7,500 grant to support the Provincial Youth Council Gathering 2026, taking place August 27–30 at Jericho House in Port Colborne. Under the theme Cultivating Good Soil, young Anglicans from across the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario will gather for worship, leadership development, spiritual formation, and community-building.

Primate’s Message – Refugee Sunday
The Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, Archbishop Shane Parker, is encouraging dioceses and parishes to observe a Refugee Sunday this year in response to the growing global refugee crisis. Developed in partnership with Alongside Hope, the initiative provides worship, educational, and children’s ministry resources focused on hospitality, compassion, and refugee sponsorship.
