Dear colleagues,

I’m pleased to say that we are now accepting applications for the summer 2024 iteration of the Montreal Mission Internship.

The program runs for nine weeks during the summer and is meant for young people between the ages of 18 to 25. The focus of the program is on service learning, vocational discernment, and theological reflection. Participants are placed in a ministry setting for that time, meet regularly with other interns, and are lead by program leaders in reflection on where they find God in their lives, their work, and their calling. Each participant receives a stipend of $5000 for the summer.

This is now our third year of this re-launched program and we are looking forward to another strong and diverse cohort from across Canada and across denominations.

More information is at https://www.montrealmission.ca/, including information on where people can live while in Montreal, different kinds of placements, and how to apply. There is no educational background required for this and we’ve had participants who have graduated from high school or CEGEP, as well as those in university or recently graduated.

We will shortly be sending out printed publicity material but in the meantime we would be grateful if you could start telling young people in your orbit about this program.

If you have questions, I’m happy to field them at this e-mail and also connect you with our program director, Alan Ma.
