This Sunday is The National Indigenous Day of Prayer. It’s a day to celebrate the cultures, customs, and gifts of Indigenous peoples in the church and across the land known as Canada. There are many resources at this link to use in your worship services. There also will be a morning broadcast for the Diocese from the Cathedral, 9:00am, with National Indigenous Archbishop Mark MacDonald preaching. A national celebration under the leadership of Archbishop Mark will be broadcast online at 2:00pm. The latter can also be downloaded early and used in your congregation’s online worship.
