Two new ‘Thanksgiving over the Water’ prayers have been approved for trial use in The Anglican Church of Canada. Bishop Anne has approved and commends their use in Algoma. One prayer is particularly suitable for All Saints’ Day. The other was written to resonate with the Baptism of the Lord and the Epiphany season. Both prayers are written so the sung response and chanted tone of Eucharistic Prayers #4 and #5 in the BAS can be used.
