Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Dr. Patti Brace as Interim Incumbent at St. Mary’s, Nipigon, commencing August 1, 2019.

Patti will be ordained as a presbyter, God willing, at the opening service of Diocesan Synod on May 8th at St. Luke’s Cathedral.

Patti has a B.A. (Hons) from Trent University, Peterborough; a M.A. (English) and a Ph.D (English) from Queen’s University, Kingston; and she is near to completing her M.Div. from Trinity College, Toronto (May 2019).  She is currently an Associate Professor at Laurentian University, Sudbury and Deacon Associate for the Parishes of St. John the Divine (Copper Cliff) and Christ Church (Lively).

She has one son, Caleb, and they are both anxious to begin ministry in Nipigon.

We ask that you uphold Patti and Caleb as they make preparations to move.  Also, that you uphold the parish of St. Mary’s as they prepare to say farewell to the Rev. Diane Hilpert-McIloy in June and welcome Patti as their Interim Incumbent in August.
