140 Years of Faithful Ministry

The Parish of Christ Church, Ilfracombe is marking a remarkable milestone this summer, and everyone is invited to join the celebration.

On Sunday, July 26, parishioners, friends, neighbours, and visitors will gather for a 140th Anniversary Service at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Church, 4101 Ravenscliffe Road (Buck Lake), Huntsville.

The service will be a special occasion of thanksgiving for 140 years of faithful Anglican ministry in the Buck Lake community. The celebration will be made even more meaningful with the presence of Archbishop Anne Germond, who will join the congregation in giving thanks for the generations of worship, fellowship, and service that have shaped the life of this historic church.

Following the service, a luncheon will be held, offering an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and continue the celebration together.

Whether Christ Church has been your spiritual home for many years, you have family connections to the parish, or you’re simply interested in celebrating the rich history of one of our diocesan churches, all are warmly welcome.
