In Thanksgiving for the Ministry of the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Green
Parish Church of the Epiphany, Sudbury – 2020 to 2025
The Diocese of Algoma gives thanks for the faithful ministry of the Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Green, who has served as Incumbent of the Parish Church of the Epiphany in Sudbury since 2020.
Over the past five years, Rev. Dr. Green has shepherded the parish through times of challenge and renewal, including the unprecedented difficulties of the global pandemic. With care and commitment, she helped the congregation navigate this season with creativity and compassion, ensuring worship and pastoral care remained central to parish life.
Her ministry has included guiding traditional practices of the Church as well as introducing fresh initiatives to help widen the circle of welcome in the downtown community. We give thanks for her pastoral presence, preaching, and leadership, which have borne fruit in many ways, seen and unseen.
As Rev. Dr. Green concludes her time at the Church of the Epiphany, we hold her in our prayers with gratitude for her service among us. We ask God’s blessing upon her as she enters the next chapter of her ministry and life.
“May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)
