Muskoka clergy gathered at St. Mark’s, Milford Bay, for a June Clericus BBQ

As summer ministry approaches, clergy from across the Deanery of Muskoka gathered on June 9 for a Clericus BBQ at St. Mark’s, Milford Bay.

The gathering provided an opportunity to reconnect, share updates, and discuss plans for the busy season ahead. “While many regions experience a quieter pace during the summer months,” writes the Ven. Kelly Baetz, Archdeacon of Muskoka, “July and August are among the busiest times of year for Muskoka parishes, as churches welcome cottagers, seasonal residents, and visitors from around the world.”

Set against the beautiful backdrop of St. Mark’s Church and Rectory on a warm early-summer day, the gathering offered a chance for fellowship and mutual support before the season begins in earnest.
