Bishop Stephen Andrews is pleased to announce the appointments of two new Deanery Wardens of Lay Readers within the Diocese.
Mrs. Barbara Ingram has been appointed in the Deanery of Sudbury-Manitoulin. Barbara is a member of St. Peter the Apostle, Elliot Lake, where she serves as Rector’s Warden, Lay Reader, Chair of the Advisory Board and member of Deanery Council.
Capt. Deborah Everest has been appointed in the Deanery of Thunder Bay-North Shore. Deborah is a member and Lay Reader at St. George’s, Thunder Bay. She provides administrative assistance at St. Michael and All Angels and officiates at various parishes within the Deanery during clerical vacation times. She holds a Diploma of Evangelism from Taylor College of Mission & Evangelism (Church Army).
Bishop Stephen is thankful to both Barbara and Deborah for their willingness to assume the duties of Warden of Lay Readers for their respective deaneries. We uphold them in prayer as they commence these new ministries within the Diocese.
