Appointment for Little Current and Western Manitoulin
Bishop Stephen Andrews is pleased to announce that he has appointed the Rev. Sherry De Jonge as incumbent for the parishes of Holy Trinity, Little Current, and Western Manitoulin (All Saints, Gore Bay; St. John the Evangelist, Kagawong; St. Peter, Silverwater)effective June 15, 2013 for one year.
Last summer, Sherry served her student placement with these parishes. She was ordained Deacon at the Synod opening service in May. She has a BA from the University of Western Ontario and a BEd from the University of Windsor. A resident of Elliot Lake, she taught secondary school and adults for over fifteen years. She has been the Sacristan at Wycliffe College.

Interim Appointment to Christ Church, Port Sydney
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Paul Walmsley as Interim Incumbent for Christ Church, Port Sydney effective June 1, 2013 to September 15, 2013.
Paul has recently retired from the parishes in Little Current and Western Manitoulin. He has special training to provide interim ministry for parishes in transition and offered his assistance to the Bishop in this capacity following his retirement.

Interim Appointment to the Parish of Callander, Powassan, Restoule, and Chisholm
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. John Stennett as Interim Incumbent for the Parish of Callander, Powassan, Restoule, and Chisholm.
John is a retiree of the Diocese of Rupert’s Land and is Honorary Assistant at St. Brice’s, North Bay.
